Ajaya Sodha, Chairman of Key Travel, has been elected as Board Director of the Institute of Travel and Meetings (ITM)

The ITM is a buyer-led organisation which promotes best practise within corporate travel and Ajaya was chosen due to his numerous years of travel management experience, specifically in the Third Sector.

On the back of this appointment Ajaya has also been selected as Chair of the ICARUS supplier group. ICARUS is the ITM's CSR  project which has the objective of not only reducing carbon emissions from travel programmes, but also improving awareness and accountability of other CSR areas such as sustainable procurement, traveller welfare and duty of care.

As Chair and the voice of the not-for-profit sector, Ajaya will encourage travel industry suppliers to develop products and services which enable travel buyers to achieve their CSR goals. This pivotal role will enable Key Travel to continue to adopt newly developing CSR initiatives and, importantly, provide a lead to our customers.
