Key Travel, the UK’s leading Travel Management Company dedicated to the non-profit sector, will now have a presence in Scotland following the acquisition of Ben Lawries Travel on Monday 28 February 2011.
The move will enable Key Travel to expand its unique range of services across Scotland’s thriving charitable, faith and academic sectors, where it already has a significant foothold.
Key Travel is acquiring Ben Lawries, an Edinburgh based travel management consultancy with 25 years’ experience in serving some of Scotland’s best known organisations, including a number in the non-profit sector. The acquisition provides Key Travel with additional experience in the school, supporters and specialist tours market, building on the opportunity in Key Travel’s existing, national educational client base.
“This is a very exciting new venture for us”, says Steve Summers, Chief Executive of Key Travel. “We know there is a large and vibrant non-profit sector in Scotland and huge demand for our unique mix of specialist fares and high service levels. The Ben Lawries team extends both our reach and our capability and we look forward to them joining the enlarged Key Travel family.”
With offices in London and Manchester, and more recently Brussels and Washington D.C. Key Travel’s latest acquisition further consolidates Key Travel’s position as the leading provider of travel to the non-profit community.
