We strive to provide the best possible development environment for all our people. This includes the provision of three specialist trainers in each of our offices who provide constant expert coaching and advice to our teams.
From the day a new member joins Key Travel we put learning and development at the front of the agenda. Our trainers deliver a 4 week classroom based induction programme, which means that before new recruits start interacting with customers, they are fully versed in all Key Travel products, systems and client requirements, equipping them to provide the best possible customer service at all times.
All our people have individual personal development plans which focus on key areas in order to ensure we enable their continued success and learning. These are formally reviewed bi-annually to make sure they are in line with long term goals, as well as in monthly one-to-ones with line managers who are always on hand to provide help and guidance when it is needed.
In 2003 we achieved recognition for our consistent commitment to personnel training and development with the Investors in People Award, and were reaccredited in 2006. The Investors in People process enables us to benchmark our practices within the Learning and development profession, making sure that everything we do is at the forefront of practice and allowing us to continue to facilitate success in all our people.
