Carbon Reporting

To help our clients assess and quantify their environmental impact, we provide detailed management information on carbon emissions produced as a result of trips booked through Key Travel.

Carbon Offsetting

If your company is interested in offsetting its emissions, Key Travel has partnered with the Edinburgh Centre for Carbon Management  (ECCM), who facilitate the Plan Vivo initiative.

Plan Vivo

Plan Vivo is an initiative that creates carbon offsets (or carbon credits) by planting trees or regenerating degraded forests. The Plan Vivo System offers investors the opportunity not only to mitigate climate change but also to help communities in developing countries invest in their own future. This project has a strong focus on farmer/community-led planning which means that the results directly meet the needs of the people.

Currently the ECCM have 3 projects you can support, Scolel Té in Mexico, Trees for Global Benefit in Uganda and Nhambita Community Carbon Project in Mozambique.
