Chinese visa applications are now submitted through the Chinese Visa Application Centre, Morely House 26 Holborn Viaduct, London EC1A 2AT

Multiple entry visas will only be issuedif you have 2 or more previous business visas in your passport.

As from the 19th January 2012 the Chinese embassy is now requesting for all tourist applications a confirmed flight itinerary, hotel confirmation (which must come direct from hotel in china and cannot be in email format) and a daily routine of the applicant which needs to be on headed paper. 

Tourist Visas

Single entry - three month validity - 30 day stay

Double entry - six month validity - 30 day stay

Scanned and printed photographs will not be accepted. Key Travel recommends using a photo booth

Flight itinerary

Hotel confirmation (which must come from China and dates or arrival and departure must match the itinerary. This cannot be in email format)

Evidence of UK residency - This must be shown as a valid visa in passport

French passport holders must supply ORIGINAL invitation letter, UK Business letter flight itinerary,hotel booking and daily routine

With immediate effect, all non UK nationals need to complete the following supplementary form. Click here to download

A letter from the applicants UK Employer

• On company headed paper
• Include the full name of applicant
• include the name of the organisation to be visited.
• specify the the visa request
• Include who is financially responsible for applicant.
• Signed by someone other than applicant i.e company director, HR department.

One of the two letters of invitation is required.

A letter from the company to be visited in China it must

• State the full name as it apprears in the passport
• State the applicants passport number
• Include the lengh of stay, purpose of journey and visa which you require
• Be on company headed paper and stamped

A letter from the Chinese Foreign Ministry

• Be issued by a Duly Authorised Unit
• Bear the signature and seal on the inviting unit

Both letters of invitation can be copies and must be issued within the last 6 months
