UK nationals can obtain Tourist and Business visas on arrival

Tourist: maximum stay of 1 month single entry - extension for a further 1 month is posspible.

Business: maximum stay of 3 weeks multiple entry

Must be holding a confimed return ticket. Visitors not holding a return ticket will be refused a visa on arrival. 

Key Travel stongly recommends getting a visa before travel to avoid excessive waiting for a visa to be issued on arrival. Please also confirm with your airline they will permit boarding without a visa. 

Tourist Visas

Single entry - three month validity

Multiple entry - twelve month validity

One fully completed application form. This needs to be completed online at

https://www.rop.gov.om/visa/english/onlineservices_VisaApplication.aspx

Must be valid for 6 months beyond entry

Have at least one blank page

One passport sized colour photograph - must have white background and taken within the last six months

Scanned and printed photographs will not be accepted. Key Travel recommends using a photo booth

A letter from the applicants employer which must:

• Be on company headed paper
• include the full name of the applicant
• Confirm that the applicant is an employee of the company
• Specify the purpose of travel
• State the applicants expected date of returning to work

Evidence of UK residency - This must be shown as a valid visa in passport

recent utility bill confirming applicants UK address

Normal Service 3 working days

No Express service

The processing time for Non UK applicants may take longer up to 10 working days as approval from Oman needs to be received by the embassy.
