Its no longer possible to submit visa applications for the Russian Embassy. They have now contracted out the work to VFS Global

All agencies and members of the public have to submit their applications at one of there sites. Key Travel submits our applications to Russian Visa Application Centre in London 15-27 Gee Street London EC1V 3RD

The contact telephone number is 0905 889 0149; this connects to a Russian call centre. Calls cost 55 pence per minute at all times. The cost is for BT landlines; call from other landlines and mobiles may vary

Russian visas are issued with specific dates thats in accordance with the dates on the application form, letter of invitation or hotel confirmation. Please ensure all dates match throughout the application

As of Wednesday 9th November all business applicants need to provide the original telex from russia

All applicants applying for Employment visas need to at VFS global in person

Must be glued to application form

Scanned and printed photographs will not be accepted. Key Travel recommends using a photo booth

A tourist voucher and confirmation. This should be obtained from a hotel or an approved travel agent

Applicants who are self employed, company directors, working from home, or unemployed must provide bank statements for the last three months which have a current balance of a minimum of £100.00 per day of the duration of visit

(this is not required for housewifes, students and retired applicants)

Non UK nationals (except EU nationals) need to have a valid UK visa/permit in actual passport.

All Non UK nationals need to provide a valid insurance certificate for the whole the period stay

French nationals also need to provide there last three months bank statements

A letter from the applicants UK Employer.

• On company headed paper
• Include the full name of applicant
• include the name of the organisation to be visited.
• specify the the visa request
• Include who is financially responsible for applicant.
• Signed by someone other than applicant i.e company director, HR department.

Letter of invitation issued by the Russian Foreign Ministry or its regional representives or by an appropriate Russian Federation Migration Service Branch.

It must contain:

• Official Seal
• legal Address of the host institution
• Document registration number and date of registration
• Signature and name of the official authorized to invite foreigners to Russia
• Purpose of visit
• Dates of stay

For all business visas applicants must provide the original telex from Russia.
