Jeffrey Lavender

Jeff is responsible for the delivery of the US Business Plan across US Sales and Operations.

Jeff brings a wealth of experience in the travel industry, where his first job was as a call center agent with Pan Am in Los Angeles and then as a Senior Manager in Marketing Automation for Pan Am in New York. He spent 8 years with Amadeus in Sophia-Antipolis, France, leading product development initiatives and launching travel industry software globally across 200+ markets. He also led product development for Amadeus’ multi-national travel agency customers. Subsequently, Jeff spent 3 years as Vice President of International Business Development at Preview Travel, one of the first NASDAQ ecommerce travel retailers. After Preview Travel was purchased by Travelocity in 2001, Jeff became Senior Vice President for Travelocity Europe as well as President and Managing Director of Travelocity France. He successfully led the Travelocity brand expansion in the French market and the integration of acquisitions in the UK, Scandinavia and France.

Between 2005 and 2013, Jeff carried out a number of executive management and consulting assignments that focused on travel, including leadership of Travelport France in Paris and as Vice President Global Sales for in San Francisco, the leading global e-retailer of sightseeing activities. In 2013, Jeff was recruited to be Executive Vice President and General Manager for North America, Europe and Mexico at Travel Impressions, a leading global tour operator, where he was responsible for $750 million in sales and 750 staff. He also led, a $50 million direct-to-consumer channel operated by Travel Impressions on behalf of American Express. Between 2016 and 2018, Jeff was Vice President and Senior Vice President for Corporate Development and Contact Centers at Avoya Travel, an American Express affiliate, and an award-winning $350+ million leading travel retailer in North America. 

Jeff has a BA in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii, where he specialized in Travel Industry Management.  He is also a graduate of the International Executive Program at INSEAD in France.
