Key Travel Wins Public Sector Travel Engage Award

23 November 2012 09:39

Key Travel has scooped its second award in two months after winning recognition for its commitment to customer service at Public Sector Travel’s Engage Awards.

The travel management company won the sought-after ‘customer service team of the year’ award. Judges were looking for a team that exceeded customer expectations in the last 12 months and gave Key Travel the top spot after considering a total of three shortlisted companies.

Kelly Deakin, Head of Customer Service  collected the award for Key Travel during a gala evening at Manchester’s Marriott Victoria and Albert Hotel on Thursday 22 November 2012. The win rounds off a successful year for Key Travel, which in October saw off competitors to win Travel Trade Gazette’s ‘Business Travel Agency of the Year’ award and was recognised in July for its strong international growth with a place in the Sunday Times International Track 200.

Steve Summers, Chief Executive of Key Travel, says: “It has been a challenging year for the public sector and travel spend has been put firmly under the spotlight. We have worked harder than ever this year to deliver value-for-money as well as the very best in choice to our customers, helping them to fulfil their duty of care and keep staff safe on the move - all while maintaining a personal and tailored level of service that puts customer satisfaction first.”

“I congratulate our staff on this splendid achievement and look forward to building on this success.”
