Liberia & Sierra Leone: BA suspends flights

British Airways announced yesterday (26th August), that they would be cancelling all flights to Liberia and Sierra Leone until 31st December 2014 due to the deteriorating public health situation.


Some other airlines have suspended flights to Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) has issued the following advice: "You should carefully assess your need to travel to these countries. If you do decide to travel, you should make sure you have adequate arrangements in place for onward travel/exit and have adequate emergency health provision."
