South Sudan aircraft crash near Juba International Airport

A cargo plane crash landed this morning shortly after take-off, close to Juba International Airport, South Sudan.

Early reports indicate that the cargo plane was carrying around 20 passengers and crew when it came down close to the airport.

Juba International Airport is currently closed.  We have contacted all customers known to be travelling to Juba International over the next 4 days to advise of possible disruption.  We recommend that any travellers due to fly to/from Juba International over the next 24-48 hours, check their flight status with the airline for possible disruptions.
