Updated: German pilot strike to disrupt Lufthansa flights

The Pilots union "Vereinigung Cockpit" (VC) has extended a strike, which is expected to disrupt a significant amount of Lufthansa flights until Wednesday 30 November.

Lufthansa flights departing from Germany are expected to be impacted as follows:

  • on all short haul flights on Tuesday 29 November from 00:01 to 23:59 hours (CET);
  • on all short haul and long haul flights on Wednesday 30 November from 00:01 to 23:59 hours (CET).

Lufthansa will prepare a special flight schedule for Tuesday and Wednesday as quickly as possible.

Flight cancellations will take place, however bookings will not be updated, so Key Travel will not be notified.
