United Airlines plans to resume international flights in May

United Airlines is looking to resume some long-haul direct services in May.

The airline has opened up bookings for three transatlantic flights to Europe and two additional non-stop flights to South America. United Airlines temporarily suspended all long-haul international flights at the end of March.

At present, United is looking to reinstate three European routes, starting 4th May:

Chicago O’Hare (ORD) – London Heathrow (LHR)
Newark (EWR) – Amsterdam Schiphol (AMS)
Frankfurt (FRA) – Washington (IAD)
