COVID-19: Premier Inn update policies following government advice
20 March 2020 16:18
As circumstances change, Premier Inn are reviewing policies including offering increased flexibility but closing restaurants.
Premier Inn have published a dedicated page for questions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
In response to Government advice regarding social distancing, Premier Inn have made the difficult decision to close all their restaurants with effect from 21st March 2020 until further notice. All Premier Inn hotels will remain open for now. This decision has been made after careful consideration and will come into effect following dinner service on Friday 20th March at 11pm for the foreseeable future. The decision applies to all Brewers Fayre, Beefeater, Cookhouse & Pub, Table Table, Bar and Block and Whitbread Inns sites, as well as the Thyme restaurants.
All guests who have breakfast included in their rate will have this refunded.
For existing clients: this will be automatically be actioned as Key Travel receives the adjusted room only price from Premier Inn (there is no need to contact us to let us know your rate included breakfast).
This is not a decision which has been taken lightly as it means Premier Inn will be unable to provide food and drink at their hotel sites. Guests will, however be able to bring in food from elsewhere to enjoy in their room.
