easyJet data breach

On the 19th May easyJet released a statement regarding a data breach which occurred in January 2020.
A forensic investigation conducted by easyJet found that the booking details including name, email address and travel details of approximately 9 million customers have been accessed.
easyJet have confirmed to Key Travel that the breach did not include financial details or passport information related to individuals where travel was booked by Key Travel.
In dialogue with Key Travel, easyJet have assured us that they have blocked the attack and have bolstered their defences to further secure their systems.
Key Travel continues to actively collaborate with easyJet to ensure that any customers impacted are contacted as a matter of priority.
easyJet have assured Key Travel that any impacted customers will be contacted by the 26th May.
