Key Travel is pleased to announce the appointment of Saad Hammad as Group CEO with immediate effect.
Saad is a very experienced and successful international business executive. His career is broadly based and he has spent much of the last decade in the travel sector, most notably as Chief Commercial Officer of easyJet and CEO of Flybe.
Saad replaces Spence Knudson, who is leaving the business.
Key Travel has been very successful over recent years, growing its global revenues and profits and delivering a consistently high level of customer service. Its performance in its most recent financial year, which ended on 30 September 2017, has been particularly strong. Prospects for the current year and beyond are very positive and the business intends to continue its strong focus on the educational and humanitarian sectors.
Neville Davis, Chairman, commented:
“I am delighted to welcome Saad as our new CEO. His depth and breadth of experience, allied to his strong business acumen, mean he is the ideal person to build on what we have achieved at Key Travel and to further accelerate our success.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Spence Knudson for his contribution to the business and to wish him well for the future.”
Saad Hammad commented:
“I am very excited to be joining Key Travel, which leads the market internationally in simplifying complex travel for customers in the nonprofit sector. I look forward to working with the entire team to accelerate the achievement of the full potential of the business and create an even more dynamic and vibrant company.”
